Week 6
Monday September 8th
I fear we have a quiet week ahead of us.
We failed to secure much of the equipment we returned to London for, and had to place an order. They have guaranteed a delivery within the week, but having dealt with these people before, I am not holding my breath. We can do little until the replacement gear arrives, and so today was spent looking at the budget, and making sure that we can absorb this latest and quite expensive inconvenience.
Week 5
Simon's Weblog
Monday September 1st
Today I can report a successful lifter experiment, and we are both very pleased.
We got it to climb to almost three and a half feet, which is pretty good considering how simple it is. It does look pretty good just floating in the air, although I did find Kyp’s insistence at spot lighting the lift off was a little over the top.
Week 4
Simon's Weblog
Monday August 25th.
I spent much of the day checking our alarm system.
As far as I can see, there seems to be nothing wrong with it. Even the sensors, which have all ways been a little sensitive, seemed to be working within there given parameters.
At a guess, there is a possibility that it was caused by the fluctuating power from the grid we seem to get. Still, they were also wired to the back up generator, which should have kicked if there was a sudden drop in power.
